Impulse Theater Festival: Rabih Mroué
As part of the Impulse Theatre Festival 2015 which runs from 11 to 20 June in North Rhine-Westphalia, the Lebanese stage and film actor and visual artist Rabih Mroué will show his work "Riding on a Cloud".
Berlin based Rabih Mroué invites his brother Yasser onto the stage who was heavily wounded as a child in the civil war and lost his ability to recognize reality in words and on pictures: representation no longer holds a meaning for him.
"Riding on a Cloud" is a subjective history of Lebanon and a fragile autobiography, in which reality and representation can never be completely harmonized.
